This bold vintage Phulkari cushion cover is from the Swat Valley in West Punjab. Hand-embroidered in silk floss on hand-spun handwoven cotton plainweave in vibrant fuchsia, leaf green, cornflower and white, it has a delightful frill border which gives it a distinctly mid-century feel.
The front is in excellent condition; the yellow back has some light staining. Sold as seen.
