A gorgeous vintage Sindh hand-embroidered bolster cover from the Swat valley.
It features exquisite abstract Sindh floral embroidery in silk floss in an unusually vibrant cerise and fuschia, with marigold, green, navy, purple and yellow outlining. The base fabric is hand-spun, hand-woven cotton. It has a new back of oatmeal linen.
As it is vintage, it has irregularities, but it is in beautiful condition. It has a little gap in the embroidery left deliberately by the artisan as only God is perfect. Sold as seen.
