From Jaipur we have diamond slice drop earrings, gold-plated on silver, featuring two diamond slices hanging between fine gold-plated silver chains. These translucent diamonds catch the light as they hang and as per Indian diamond-cutting tradition - the oldest method in the world - they are cut from a large rough-cut diamond. Indian royalty has always preferred the stone’s natural lustre along with the imperfections that give it is unique character.
Neither faceted nor chemically treated for high shine, every diamond maintains the natural shape, character and texture of the stone, and the inclusions and black flecks of carbon make each earring unique.
